Tauari, também conhecido como carvalho brasileiro, é comparável ao carvalho vermelho norte-americano, mas 13% mais duro. Suas cores variam de branco-sujo a marrom médio, com um padrão de granulação médio e baixo brilho. A madeira Tauari fornece a cor "trigo" altamente procurada associada ao carvalho doméstico. Além de ser visualmente atraente, esta madeira também é resistente à decomposição, insetos e outros impactos, garantindo o uso duradouro do seu produto de madeira Tauari.
